A plane took off at Muritala Muhammad airport, Lagos and was on its way to Abuja, the plane had 120 passengers on it. They left the runway and was on its way to Abuja, when an heavy storm started, the storm was so much with different thunder and lightning, the lightning bolt hit one of the wings of the plane and it got on fire, and the pilot lost control of the plane, and few minutes later the plane crashed in an island.
........ Hours after the crash, most of the people in the plane were dead, there was only 6 survivors, an history professor whose name was Tayo, four soldiers (a general( whose name was James, and his 3 men) and a doctor(Whose name was Ayo). They all got united and left the crash site, and started wondering about in the land, they met some people along the way, their dressing were somehow odd in the old Yoruba way, the land looks very familiar to the history professor, the trees, the people he was seeing, he realised that they were not in 2018 anymore, that they're in a different time, different from where they came.
The history professor asked a woman they met along the way that which kingdom are they in right now, and she answered and said that this is the Great kingdom of OYO of which sango(The god of thunder) is the king of the kingdom.
(Sango is the god of lightening and thunder, he has the ability to spit fire out of his mouth and one of the most powerful god in the history of Nigeria and he is also known for his anger) The 6 survivors were shocked because they were confused on how they traveled from 2018 across time to a place out of time and history. The history professor for one never actually believed those times existed, he just only thought about them but him seeing it scares him and the 5 others.
The people of the kingdom of Ile-Ife were scared because the six survivors were odd from them, the way they talk, the way they were dressed, the soldiers even had guns on them, better upgrades than the one they have. The people of the kingdom were afraid, so they ran to the kabiyesi(The king) which is sango and told him all they've seen and how they think those six survivors could be gods that walk among them, Sango hearing this got angry and sent his men to capture and bring them in.
The king's soldiers matched with guns, and when they finally saw and surrounded the Six, they asked them to surrender and come with them to the king's Palace because the king want to have words with them. But they panicked, they've all heard of Sango, even lil children of yoruba kingdom has heard stories about the Great sango(The god of thunder), so instead of going willingly with the soldiers, the six decided to make a run for it, the general of the soldiers, Ayo and his men, brought out their fire power and started shooting at the men of sango after which they all fled the village and ran to the bush and hid themselves, they all knew sango is not a merciful god.

The villager brought the news to the king, telling him how just four men(The soldiers) took out 20 of his men without breaking a sweat. Sango got scared at first because no man can do such in the land except him. He was so angry that he made a loud roaring sound and the house next to his palace exploded and got on fire. He went inside to consult the Oracle to know where the six are.
Few hours later, he brought out a calabash and looked through the calabash and saw the six in the bush. Sango dropped the calabash and went out of the palace with raging anger, and took 10men with him and he matched with them to where the six survivors are, they all saw the sango and was scared, the fell to their kneels and started begging for their lives, but sango insisted on destroying them, then an idea came to the mind of the history professor, and he started reciting the eulogise of the king, Sango was suprised on how a stranger of the land will know how to praise him even more than his own people. So instead of killing them, he took them captive and brought them to prison in the palace.
Few hours later, he brought out a calabash and looked through the calabash and saw the six in the bush. Sango told the guards to bring them out of the prison to his presence so he can pass judgement to them for killing 20 of his men, they were brought out of the prison and to the presence of sango, and he sentenced them to death by open fire.
The soldiers were fearless but the doctor and the history professor wasn't, the beg for their lives but the kabiyesi refused, then the historian thought of something from what he knew from the history of sango. The historian told the king that he will get married soon to a lady named OYA, the king was shocked and made an announcement that the historian is a seer, the historian continued, saying Sango has two wives already namely, OBA and OSUN and OYA will be the third. The king ordered that they should return them back to the prison.
Two weeks after that event, the king was wandering around in the forest, where he saw this beautiful black woman, who has the ability to shape shift into a deer. Sango was standing beside a tree close to the river, as he watches the way OYA was taking her bath after which she turned into a deer and ran off. Few days later, Sango returned back to the same spot, He saw her taking her bath in the river, the king walked close to the river bank and started a conversation with her.
While they were talking, kabiyesi stated how much he admired the power she had to turn herself into a deer, she was confused on how the king found out that part of her. They were both naked in the river, they kept talking on and on and as time goes on they ran short of things to say, their heads moved up close to each other and they kissed! the king drew her close and made love to her in the river.
After which he brought her to the palace as the third queen.
The king then sees the survivors as seers, he brought them out of the prison and gave them apartments in his mansion and treat them specially.

The kingdom of Oyo was under attack by neighboring village, Oyo has the strongest military power in the whole of history in Nigeria, but these men were stronger, bigger and faster. They came in through the back tunnel of the kingdom,with bows and arrows and gun, they attacked Oyo kingdom and almost conquer. Most of sango's men were down, sango ran to consult the 6 survivors and ask them on what to do because he sees them as seers. The historian told him to go out and let himself get shot either by a gun or arrow.
Sango saw the idea as a crazy one but he trusted the historian has they have fought many wars together and he never disappointed him. Sango went out and stood in the middle of the war zone, arrows and bullets flying around but none touched him, eventually he got shot in the leg, which was the very first time he will be injured in a battle, with such agony and pain, sango screamed to the top of his voice, and all the soldiers attacking started bleeding from all over their body, eyes, ears and nose. They all fell down and died.
Sango was rushed inside and was attended to by the doctor which was also one of the survivors, he passed out during the treatment. He woke up few hours later and he was feeling better knowing they had won the war.

But despite the historian effort to maintain sango's reign, he fell, despite him knowing all of history and knowing what will be the downfall of sango and after carrying out all possible means to avoid it, Sango fell..... How? Was it bound to happen?......... Find out in the next edition.
