It was 2:30am in the morning when Hannah heard noise coming from her parents room, she sat up on her bed and thought about all that her dad do to her mom, times he abused her, public violence, and her mom didn't wanna leave her because she was scared that if she left, something bad might happen to Hannah.

Mr Peters who is Hannah's dad has always being kind of hot tempered and too aggressive with the wife.
Hannah was lost in her thought, she desperately wished she could intervene and get her dad to stop beating her mother but she's too fragile and naive, she could do nothing to stop what was happening.
That night after several hours of shouting and beating, Hannah heard a gunshot from her room,  she ran out of her room and went to her parent room only to find her father dead on the ground with his blood splattered on the wall and on the floor. She saw her mother standing over the body with the gun in her hand.

Hannah froze for a moment, but surprisingly she was relieved that her dad is dead, that he wasn't going to keep beating and embarrassing her mom anymore, she stood at the entrance of the room with a relief look on her face,  tears rolling off her face as she saw her mom's face all swollen.
Hannah knew if they call the police, her mom might get arrested and thrown to jail even though it was self defense Hannah then decide to dispose the body so that the police won't find it.
Hannah and her mom dragged the body into the back of the car, and they drove into the woods, they brought the body out of the car, and had sticks gathered around the body, they poured some gasoline on it and burn the body, they packed the ashes of the body into three different bags to destroy the evidence and any chance of it being traced back to them.

Few days later...... Hannah and Mrs Peters filed a missing person report to the police about Mr peters that he is missing, so the police won't look into them as suspects.
The family of Hannah's father came over to show their concern and to try to find the Mr peters but no one could find out where he really is.
The police made their investigation and later found out that he had a fight with one of his colleagues at work, JohnPaul, before his family filed a missing person report, they arrested and took JohnPaul to court, charging him for the alleged murder of Mr Peters.

Eye Witnesses testified in court during the trial that they saw JohnPaul threatening to hurt Mr Peters if he doesn't pay back the money he was owning him.
After so much debate, JohnPaul was convicted for the murder of Mr Peters and was sentenced to 65yrs imprisonment.

2yrs later..... Hannah gained admission into a law university, where she met friends, fell in love and had a nice time but she didn't forget what happened to her dad, she tried her possible best to learn the law  and to find every lope hole (escape route) for the offense she committed with her mom, just incase the skeleton later falls out of the cupboard.

She tried her possible best to prepare for the worse.

10years after law school.......
Hannah is a very successful lawyer, she has never lost a case in her entire career, hard working and one of the best lawyers in the country, she's smart, fearless and never back down from a challenge.
Mrs peters is already a little bit older, but happy she was blessed with such a successful daughter.

It was already the end of the year and Hannah came over to her mom's place for thanks giving dinner, after preparation of the food, they both sat down to start eating when Hannah received a video message on her phone about the night her father died, the video footage shows how Hannah and her mother dragged the body out of the house and into the car.

Seeing this video, Hannah was so scared and start to think about the night if anyone could have saw them, she thought she left this behind her, she never thought any of this could happen again after 12yrs, few minutes later,  another message came in from the same anonymous person, demanding $5000 or else he will leak the video to the media and to the police. Hannah and her mom got so confused, they both start to wonder who might have sent the video.

The following day
It was already few hours to the deadline given by the person that sent the video, Hannah saw no way out other than to send the money to the person, hoping it will all be over after that.
She sent the money few minutes before the deadline, afterwards a call came in from a blocked phone number, from the same person, demanding another amount of money, given Hannah a week to gather and send the money.
They both could not even think about who would want to do this to them, they assumed no one saw them that night, talk less of a video coverage, this scared Hannah alot, the fear that she might get disbarred, and she will loose everything she has ever worked for her entire career and worse she will get thrown in jail for covering up a murder.

This went on and on and on and on for weeks, months, Hannah was already running low on cash, she is tired of everything, she wants to know who's behind it, she had a plan which will lead her to the person behind it all, she was just waiting for the person to make another request.

Few days later..... The person called again making another request of $2M, Hannah is no where near ready to drop that kind of amount, usually when the person calls, he would ask Hannah to drop off the money at a particular location and ask her to leave afterwards, but this time, Hannah decided to stick around for a while, she waited over an hour after dropping an empty bag at the location, she was tired of waiting, she starts her vehicle to be on her way home and snub the threat by the person then she looked into her side mirror and saw a man in black moving towards the location where she dropped off the bag, she got off her car and walked quietly moving towards the location also, she stopped at a distance and saw the person checking the bag out, then she ran towards the person so he won't escape, just to see his face.

The person saw her coming then he wanted to make a run for it, but she pulled out a gun and threaten to shoot him if he takes another step, the person stopped and turned around, she saw his face, it was Mike, the boy living next door, she was surprised to see that Mike has been blackmailing her, she pointed her gun towards Mike and threaten to shoot him if he doesn't cooperate, she asked Mike for every copies of the video footage, but there was only one footage, which was on Mike's phone.

After deleting the video and destroying Mike's phone, Hannah pulled out the gun and shoot Mike in the head 🔫 .

Hannah paused, she thought about destroying and dumping the body like she did with her father but it will only lead to more question after Mike's family file a missing person report to the police, so she decided to call the police.

The police arrived at the scene and started questioning her about the incident, she had a good story to tell, she told the police that Mike has been blackmailing her, threatening to kill her like he killed her father, and that she was too scared to go to the police, that Mike has been demanding for money from her, she brought out her bank statement to confirm her story, the bank statement which truly shows withdrawal of several amount from the account each weeks for 6months. It was a good cover up story for the incident.

The police saw the incident as self defense and told Hannah she was free to go.
